Turbo machines have been known since the beginning of the last century and have become more and more widely used as a power source for various purposes. During operation of turbo machines, a pressure surge in the form of a charge flow of hot gas which contains combustion products and lubricating oil, and a liquid flow of lubricant may be generated. The two flows are conducted in coaxially disposed feed lines to the turbo machine. The charge flow is conducted in a high-pressure chamber which is in communication with the turbo machine, whereas the oil flow is conducted in a low-pressure chamber which is in communication with the turbo machine. In order to maintain or improve the lubrication conditions of the turbo machine, the relative amounts of oil and gas in the charge flow are to be controlled. If the oil supply is too great, the mixture of gas and oil will be too lean and the amount of compressed air delivered to the turbo machine will be unnecessarily reduced. Therefore, it is necessary to displace the oil from the mixture of gas and oil in the turbo machine, and to replace the oil with compressed air. In a known compression-type liquid-gas-lubricant separator, the gas flow and the lubricant flow are each conducted to a common chamber. The gas flow and the lubricant flow are mixed in the chamber, and then separated from each other. One of the two flows is conducted through a gas outlet line which is in communication with a gas supply line which is connected to the turbo machine. The other flow is conducted through a lubricant outlet line which is in communication with a lubricant supply line which is connected to the turbo machine. In the chamber the mixture of gas and oil undergoes compression and separation. The mixture is separated into its components by a central flow guiding element which has at least one bore with a corrugation which extends along its length. This flow guiding element is rotatable, and the bore is disposed between two flat surfaces of the flow
